Pitch Talk went to Wembley Way again, this time on the day of the 2012 Carling Cup Final to get the opinions and predictions before the match and reactions after the match of...you! The people!!!
We went to get interviews with Cardiff City FC & Liverpool FC supporters going to Wembley and what fun we had in North London down on Wembley Way.
The Carling Cup Final was contested between Cardiff City FC & Liverpool FC. Cardiff went into this match as the underdogs looking to upset 7 time previous winners Liverpool and win the 1st piece of major silverware of the 2011/2012 season whilst Liverpool were looking to end a 6 year trophy drought by winning the only trophy Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish hadn't won as a player/manager. As you may or may not know, Liverpool FC are very close to Pitch Talk co-host Liam 'Straight Shootin' LJA' Angell's heart as they are the team he supports so check out his reactions to the end result of the match, and check out Straight Shootin' LJA conducting interviews with fellow Liverpool supporters and with the Cardiff City fans, getting their views and predictions on who will be the danger men, what the score will be and more, at the 2012 Carling Cup Final at Wembley.
The match itself was tremendous as was the fans we met on the day, a great big thank you to all of the fans who gave us interviews.
